Kyle Pineda is a Los Angeles based photographer who specializes in editorial, portrait, and nightlife photography.
My work is heavily inspired by underground subcultures and alternative fashion. Through my lens, I capture raw, authentic expression using bold lighting and dramatic compositions. I'm drawn to the people, communities, and moments that exist outside the mainstream, which inspires me to document them in a way that feels honest, immersive, and true to the energy of the scene. Much of my work has been shaped by documenting Los Angeles' underground nightlife and rave communities, where individuality, self-expression, and human connection are at the center of every moment.
Through portraiture, I use fashion as a vehicle for storytelling. I encourage my subjects to express themselves freely and authentically, allowing their individuality to shape each image. By combining the techniques I've refined over the past year with a distinct visual style, I aim to create editorial photographs that not only tell a story, but leave a lasting impression on those who experience them.
